I became a CV Writer – a major part of my business portfolio – in 1995. I work from my home office in Uckfield, East Sussex, not far north of Brighton, and at Uckfield Volunteer Centre, where I do free CV reviews, give job search advice and also offer CV workshops.

 

 

My Background

Despite not liking or doing very well at school, when I  started my career I gained a wide variety of administrative roles in different departments, followed by promotion, which gave me an excellent set of skills and about 11 year’s experience with The Caravan Club in East Grinstead.

Nowadays when I look back, I would never have believed I could have achieved so much, with my own businesses, voluntary work and family commitments too. Naturally my parents are always keen to hear what I am doing and they often say how proud they are and makes me feel proud too!

I have a passion for writing, getting the point across quickly and concisely and have the knack of encouraging the right information from clients. I write articles for business and personal use, effective marketing material, copy for websites and of course CV writing and Linkedin profiles.  I also have an inquisitive nature and use my intuition which helps to build up the right picture from the start.

All of my clients say they come to me mostly because they find it hard or impossible to write about themselves so asking an expert like me is the obvious next step.

My Business

I always enjoy CV writing, and feedback from my clients is not only very important to me, it tells me that it works!  This makes my job very rewarding and worthwhile and motivates me to look forward to the next one!

Having written 100s of CVs for happy clients, I know that personal service with consultation is important to you, so that’s exactly what I offer. It gives you the opportunity to talk face-to-face or via Skype, with an expert – me. I am proud to say that the same high level of service is quite hard to find elsewhere.
