Hi, I'm Sue Edwards, an experienced CV Writer
I started writing CVs and Linkedin profiles in 1995 and since then I have helped 100s of happy candidates be successful in finding a new job. I’ve helped people of all age groups and many industries.
I have always enjoyed writing for business, so CV writing seemed a natural path to follow.
My first full-time job was at The Caravan Club in East Grinstead, where after about 8 years in admin and reception work, I was promoted to Assistant Editor, then Deputy Editor. The majority of my work consisted of writing and editing.
In 1992 I left to start a family, and 3 years later I became a freelance VA (Virtual Assistant), working from home, specialising in CV writing.
CV writing is very rewarding, knowing that 1) a new CV I’ve recently been working on, has proved successful in securing a new job. 2) When I receive referrals from past clients. 3) When I receive glowing reviews for my work.
People say it’s much easier to write about someone else, rather than your own career. It’s hard to ‘sell’ yourself on paper.
Needless to say, I’m very proud of my own job successes. After The Caravan Club I worked in part-time jobs, both paid and voluntary, with Duke Letting another long-term role, where I used my marketing skills to help raise their profile.
